is an art community that covers many forms of art. Users
create
galleries of their art work. I've found this an incredibly
useful
site for getting feedback and helping to critique the work of others
(which is very helpful in recognizing your own areas for improvement).
This site also offers
a print service, although the percent that goes to the artist is not
that impressive.

flickr is a photo sharing community that grows and involves daily. Photos are an accumulation that ranges from fine art to snapshots of the kids. It's an incredible amalgamation of everyday life around the world. There are also numerous active groups to discuss an incredible range of topics, many actually related to photography! |
