Web Hosting by DreamHost

Everything I’ve read about Dreamhost was good and so far I can report that it works well. Set up has been easy for the most part (they’ve dumbed down the process about as much as I think possible – you still need a little technical competence if you want to set up a full fledged website).

VisiBone Webmaster’s Color Lab

Sometimes, it helps to have some color help when designing a site, which may surprise you looking at this pretty much black design.

CSS Express Pure CSS Drop-Down and Popup Menus by PVII

The source for that super snazzy menu bar across the top. I updated it by hand with my own site layout and changed some colors, but the overall design is thanks to this site.

Gallery | Your photos on your website

What would a photography website be without a gallery function? The code was pre-installed by Dreamhost and I am still uncovering all the nifty features and possible enhancements.

Marcofolio.net

Source of some of the PHP I used on this site.  Nice clear instructions!

WordPress Blog Tool and Weblog Platform

I’ve been blogging for years now, but with my own site, I’m centering that activity here. I’ve had all my trip blogs moved here and am retrieved the bulk of my personal blogs from my old blog. Wordpress also came pre-installed, but I would have selected it on reputation alone.

Sendcard

A pretty awesome PHP script for sending eCards using your own photos, etc. on your site.
