Photo Art
An assortment of photos that are created using my original photographs - often multiple considering that some of the layers are “textures” – basically images (be they scans or photos) of things found in everyday life. Concrete, rock, paper, cloth – all these things can be layered in with a photo to create a feeling of something entirely different. There’s definitely an art to layering and a lot of trial and error and brushing away at a layer (for instance you like the result of a layer in one part of the photo but want to tone it down elsewhere). At any rate, you’ll see far more “normal” photos from me, but sometimes I do enjoy getting the creative juices flowing and will spend hours creating one of these works of art. I hope you enjoy!
Some of these go on to my prints gallery where you can see the ones I consider my best.
If you see an art piece here that you are interested in but it’s not in my prints gallery, or if you have questions or comments, please contact me.
